2019 Farmland School Tax Rebate Deadling

MESSAGE FROM MASC:
The deadline to apply for the Farmland School Tax Rebate (FSTR) is legislated as March 31 of the year following the taxation year.
As the result of COVID-19, the Province extended the deadline to apply for the 2019 Farmland School Tax Rebate to the earlier of Sept. 21, 2020, or the end of the state of emergency
associated with COVID-19. The new deadline includes allowing for the payment of 2019 property and school taxes.
Applications must be received by MASC by the end of the day on Monday September 21, 2020. Applications can be faxed or drop off at any MASC office.
They are hoping to have the 2020 applications available in early October. If there are any questions, please contact a MASC Office.
